DESCRIPTION:Formed at the University of Michigan, the Sinta Quartet is on a mission to bring the versatility, homogeneity and excitement of the saxophone to audiences everywhere. Known for their virtuosic, memorized performances, they blend 18th- to 20th-century masterpieces with contemporary commissions and arrangements. They have earned numerous prestigious awards and regularly tour internationally, introducing audiences to the rich possibilities of the classical saxophone quartet.    Admission is free, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.
