DESCRIPTION:Praised for their “tremendous variety of color” (The Strad) and “cohesion and intonation one might expect from an ensemble twice their age” (Third Coast Review), the Callisto Quartet has risen quickly to international acclaim. Grand Prize winners of the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and Second Prize winners of the Banff International String Quartet Competition, they perform regularly across Europe, Central America, and North America in venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center. Beginning in 2027, the quartet commences residency in the Bowers program at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.    Free admission. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
