Choir Concert for Family Weekend

Come hear Wofford's choral ensembles in a short concert as a part of the Family Weekend festivities. The performance will feature a selection of jazz standards performed by Wofford Singers, Women's Choir, and Men's Glee Club. All are welcome to attend and no advanced registration is required.

After Game Band Party for students and families.

BYOB. No glass bottles and no liquor. All Students will be asked to show ID. The AVI Foodsystem food truck, 429 (The Road Boss) will be on hand. The first 350 people eat for free! Entrance to this event is at the Evins Street side of The Galleria. No one may enter from The Village.

Family Weekend: Terrier Fun Run/Walk

This event is open to all faculty, staff, alumni, students, families, and friends! Check-in will begin at 7:45 a.m. Registration will close on Sept. 13 at noon. Participants will receive a Family Weekend t-shirt and a light breakfast will be provided.

The Shape I'm In: Tri State Sculptors Member Exhibition. Sept. 1-Oct. 8, 2022. Richardson Family Art Gallery. Wofford College is honored to host the 44th Annual Tri State Sculptors Conference! This year’s theme, “The Shape I’m In,” was inspired by a stray lyric from a country-folk song. We like that it has many interpretations, from the fleshy forms we inhabit to our present mental and emotional states, from the architecture that surrounds us to our resistance to creative fatigue.

Flu shots

Flu shots will be available in the Tony White Theater in the Mungo Student center on Monday, Oct. 3 from 1-3 p.m. We will also have flu shots on Monday, Oct. 10 from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. in the Tony White Theater and then on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 1-3 p.m. in OLIN 202 (the lounge on the second floor). No appointment is necessary and there is no charge.

CIL Lunches

CIL Lunches are an opportunity to get together to talk about teaching: to share things you're doing in your classes, to seek input or advice on things you're considering doing, or to listen to what others are doing. Lunches don’t have a specific agenda: what we talk about at any given lunch depends on the interests of those present. Come for 15 minutes or 60. Come every week or only once. Whatever works for you. The CIL will cover the cost of lunch for participants.

Blood Drive

Blood Connection is returning to campus for another blood drive, since the need in the community is still so great. They will be collecting blood in front of Main Building on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The incentive for this drive is high, a $20 gift card initially and then additional in your TBC rewards account. It is imperative to choose your major wisely. Some students enter college knowing what occupation they want to pursue and choose a major based on that career objective. Others don't have a clear career path and study a subject that will give them the skills they need to pursue a variety of occupations or obtain the foundation they need to get a graduate degree.
