The Hon. J. Michelle Childs will deliver the lecture "The Constitution and the Rule of Law: Linchpins to the Preservation of Democracy." Childs is a judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. Formerly a U.S. District Court Judge in South Carolina, Childs has served as a commissioner on the state Worker's Compensation Commission, as a circuit court judge and was a partner at Nexsen Pruet.
