Gilman International Scholarship information session

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity available to students who receive a Federal Pell Grant. Eligible students may receive up to $9,000 in funding for a study or intern abroad experience. During this information session, staff from the Office of International Programs will review the scholarship goals, eligibility requirements and application components with interested students. Interim 2025 travel/study program application deadline

Interim 2025 travel/study programs with remaining spaces are currently accepting applications. Visit the link to see the list of programs and start your application. No deposit is required! Completed applications will be reviewed for admission on a rolling basis until a program fills or the final deadline of Sept. 15 passes. All students who submit an application by the final deadline will automatically be considered for Wofford Travel Grants.

Interim 2025 Black Alumni Association Travel Grant application deadline

The Black Alumni Association Travel Grant is open to any Black student wishing to study abroad on a Wofford-approved program during Interim. Consideration is given to financial need and merit, but all students are encouraged to apply. Historically, grants have ranged from $3,000 to $4,000. Convicted but innocent: An evening with Kristine Bunch

The South Carolina Innocence Initiative will host a powerful event featuring Kristine Bunch, one of 300 women in the U.S. wrongfully convicted and later exonerated. In honor of Wrongful Conviction Day, Kristine will share her account of 17 years of imprisonment for a crime she did not commit, along with her journey advocating for justice reform since her exoneration. Visa Open House for Spring 2025 Study Abroad Applicants

Students studying abroad during the spring 2025 semester whose program requires a visa can come by the Office of International Programs anytime between 9 am and 5 pm to discuss the visa application process and have required documents reviewed by staff, no appointment needed. Please note that not every program requires a visa. Contact the OIP with any questions at internationalprograms@wofford.edu.

Spring 2025 Priority Registration for Fall 2024 Study Abroad Students

Wofford students studying off-campus can register for classes EARLY beginning Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 AM EST and continue through Friday, Nov. 8 at 11:59 PM EST. Registration for students on campus will open the following week, but you will be locked out during that time. Please take advantage of early registration or you will have to wait until drop/add opens later. Dr. Vernon Burton, Justice Deferred: Race and the Supreme Court

Dr. Vernon Burton, Clemson University's inaugural Judge Matthew J. Perry Distinguished Chair of History and Professor of Pan-African Studies, Sociology and Anthropology, and Computer Science, will discuss his latest book, Justice Deferred: Race and the Supreme Court. Justice Deferred is the first book that comprehensively charts the Supreme Court’s race jurisprudence, detailing the development of legal and constitutional doctrine. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signature.
