To mark the 50th anniversary of hip hop, Dr. Mark Anthony Neal will present “'It’s Been a Long Time': A History of Hip-Hop Before Hip-Hop." Dr. Neal is the James B. Duke Distinguished Professor of African & African American Studies and Chair of the Department of African & African American Studies at Duke University. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW EVENT LOCATION.
